
Art on Loan is an annual Ivins City Arts Commission program showcasing local artwork in public spaces throughout the community.
Each year, six Ivins artists are selected to showcase their work in public spaces for a full year, with pieces available for purchase. Selected artists receive a stipend and are honored at our May reception. Want to participate? Interested in Submitting for Art on Loan?
The City of Ivins seeks original sculptures and original two-dimensional art. This art will be displayed in public areas within the City. The "on loan" period is 1 year. The Arts Commission aims to showcase and promote this art, providing a means for artwork sales. Ivins City will retain 25% of any sales. Selected artists will receive a $1000 stipend. The Artist Entry Applications will open in 2026.

When is the deadline to enter each year?
Typically at the end of February. Keep an eye on the Ivins City Newsletter for specific dates.

Is there an entry fee?
No.

What are the artwork size limitations?
2D art must fit within one of two wall space sizes: 30"width x 40"height or 48"width x 36"height. Consideration should be given to filling the space without exceeding the parameters. If your submission includes multiple pieces that fit within the dimension size parameters, please include an image of your presentation.

When will I be notified if I am selected?
April 1, no matter the year.

If I am selected, when should I bring my piece in?
May, no matter the year.

How long will my work be displayed?
May to April of the following year.

Perez was our Student Featured Artist for 2025. This mixed-media piece depicts the artist’s grandfather’s restored Ford 8N tractor on the Ivins Bench, honoring their family’s deep local roots and multi-generational history in Ivins.
