IVINS ARTS CORRIDOR

Ivins is home to a vibrant and growing Arts Corridor, first envisioned in the 2017 Arts Master Plan. The Corridor stretches from the Mustang Roundabout in the southeast to Tuacahn in the northeast, then follows Center Street and Kwavasa Drive to The Center for the Arts at Kayenta. Future expansion is planned westward to Highway 91.

The Commission is bringing the “Out of the Desert” theme to life by enhancing the Corridor with striking public art. Sculptures already line points along the route. The next phase included colorful, artist-designed utility box wraps—several of which are already installed, with more on the way. Pieces from the Art on Loan program also contribute to the evolving landscape.

Planned additions include new sculptures, decorative benches, informational plaques, heritage-inspired murals, colorful crosswalks, performance art, artful banners, and more—creating a dynamic and inspiring experience for both drivers and pedestrians.

Existing Art Sculptures

The Ivins Arts Corridor features an impressive array of sculptures, anchoring both ends and points in between. At one end, visitors can enjoy the Kayenta Sculpture Garden and works displayed at Tuacahn; at the other, the striking Mustangs sculpture at the Black Desert/Reserve roundabout makes a bold statement. Near the heart of the Corridor, "Ivins Now and Then" stands proudly in front of City Hall. In addition, rotating pieces from the annual Art on Loan program add fresh energy and variety each year.
