Art on Loan is an annual Ivins City Arts Commission program showcasing local artwork in public spaces throughout the community.

Each year, up to six Ivins artists are selected to showcase their work in public spaces for a full year, with pieces available for purchase. Selected artists receive a stipend and are honored at May reception. Want to participate? Make sure you’re in the Artist Registry and review the details below—entries are now closed, but you can join our registry and plan for next year.

2026 Art on Loan Entries are now closed

The City of Ivins 2026 Art on Loan Call for Entries is now closed. We are thrilled to announce that 21 of our outstanding Ivin's artists are participating. This art will be displayed in public areas within the City. The "on loan" period is 1 year. The Arts Commission aims to showcase and promote this art, providing a means for artwork sales. Ivins City will retain 25% of any sales. Selected artists will receive a $1000 stipend. Watch here for an announcement of selected artists and the timeframe for art installation and our artist's reception!

How do I know if I'm eligible?

Art on Loan is open to all artists who reside in Ivins City, have a studio in Ivins City, or are represented by a gallery in Ivins City.

When is the deadline to enter?

Applications open 1/1/2026 and close 2/27/2026.​ Start thinking now about next year!​

Is there an entry fee? 

No.

​

What are the artwork size limitations?

2D art must fit within one of two wall space sizes: 30"width x 40"height or 48"width x 36"height. Sculptures must be at least 36 inches in height and/or diameter. See specific details in the "Additional Information" link below.

Does my art have to have been created within the current year?

No.​

May to April of the following year.

Art on Loan

You will not be disappointed with this year’s winners. Pieces range from stunning photography, to moving wildlife depictions, to breathtaking metalwork. What we love the most about these pieces though, is the artists ability to organically ground us, and remind us of why we love our home so much.

Aspen Blake

This piece was done with spray paint on composite. Blake said "I march to the beat of my own drum, and that drum is a kazoo." She explains how that's a very apt description of her! Blake was selected to be our Biannual Student Featured Artist at the Heritage Days Art Show 2025.
